POSITION: Customer Service/Production Planning Asst.

Education or Equivalent Experience:
• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Post secondary education with business emphasis a plus
• Previous production planning experience in a manufacturing environment

Essential Job Functions:
• Release & maintain manufacturing orders to support the manufacturing team
• Maintain kan ban triggers and other lean manufacturing processes
• Interaction with operations team to implement customer changes and resolve inventory issues
• Communicate with customers regarding delivery and/or scheduling changes

Skills Required:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work with minimum supervision
• Understanding of MRP and production planning
• Knowledge of kan ban and lean manufacturing processes
• Exceptional organizational skills
• Working knowledge of SAP planning software a plus
• Experience with Microsoft Office Products
